Last Updated: April 29, 2026

This PayPal User Agreement explains the terms for connecting your PayPal account to FreLeads. It applies only to the PayPal transaction tracking integration and is in addition to the general FreLeads Terms & Conditions available at /terms.

1. What the Integration Does

The PayPal integration lets you connect PayPal to FreLeads so you can view transaction history and organize payment activity alongside leads, clients, and CRM records.

The integration is read-only for transaction tracking. FreLeads is not a payment processor, bank, money transmitter, wallet, escrow service, or financial institution.

2. What FreLeads Cannot Do

By connecting PayPal, you are not giving FreLeads permission to move money.

  • FreLeads cannot send money from your PayPal account
  • FreLeads cannot receive money into your PayPal account
  • FreLeads cannot withdraw funds, transfer funds, or access your bank account
  • FreLeads cannot create, approve, refund, or cancel PayPal payments
  • FreLeads cannot view your PayPal password, bank account number, or card number

3. Your Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the PayPal account you connect to FreLeads
  • You should connect only a PayPal account you own or are authorized to use
  • You are responsible for reviewing transactions and confirming accuracy before relying on summaries
  • You are responsible for complying with PayPal's own terms, policies, and account requirements
  • You should disconnect PayPal if you no longer want FreLeads to refresh transaction data

4. Transaction Data and Accuracy

PayPal transaction data may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, or limited by PayPal permissions, account status, API availability, or PayPal's Transaction Search access rules. PayPal states that transaction search data can lag behind recent transactions.

FreLeads provides payment tracking as a convenience. It should not be treated as accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice. You should verify payment records directly in PayPal or with your accountant before making business, tax, or legal decisions.

5. Connection, Revocation, and Disconnection

You can connect PayPal from FreLeads Settings using PayPal's authorization screen. You can disconnect PayPal from FreLeads Settings at any time. You may also revoke FreLeads access directly from your PayPal account.

After disconnection or revocation, FreLeads will no longer be able to refresh PayPal transaction data. Some previously displayed transaction summaries or cached records may remain in your FreLeads workspace unless deleted according to our data retention practices.

6. Security

FreLeads stores PayPal OAuth tokens in encrypted form on the server side. You must also protect your FreLeads and PayPal login credentials. Tell us promptly if you believe your FreLeads account or PayPal connection has been accessed without authorization.

7. Limits of Liability

FreLeads is not responsible for PayPal outages, PayPal API changes, delayed transaction reporting, incorrect PayPal account data, or actions taken in PayPal outside FreLeads. FreLeads does not guarantee that PayPal transaction tracking will always be available or error-free.

8. Changes to This Agreement

We may update this PayPal User Agreement as the integration, PayPal requirements, or FreLeads features change. Continued use of the PayPal integration after changes are posted means you accept the updated agreement.
